This site is all about DVDwizard - a set of bash-scripts to aid you in authoring Video-DVDs on Linux. Creating Video-DVDs with nice graphical navigation and selection menus from a given mpeg file becomes as easy as typing "dvdwizard mymovie.mpg" on the command line. |

The new release 0.5.7 of dvdwizard is out. Now it runs ith newest transcode, ffmpeg and imagemagick. And you can make menus in russian language (and fonts). |

The general idea behind dvdwizard was to automate the creation of a full-featured Video-DVD structure from a given MPEG-file and make it as easy as possible. On the other hand, it should be flexible enough to let the more experienced user adjust the looks of the DVD to his or her liking. |

Installation of dvdwizard on your machine is fairly simple. Just download the latest version of dvdwizard and untar it anywhere you want. This will create a subdirectory named dvdwizard-<version>. cd into this directory and either use the contained install script (sh ./install) or manually copy the executable files to a directory that's in your $PATH and you're ready to go. |
